the hotel has a classy bar offering great service. i particularly enjoyed the functional antique telephone in the room. breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food.

convenient location supportive bed great selection
I found the location convenient. Everywhere felt accessible. The bed felt supportive and gave good rest. Breakfast includes good selection of items. I was very charmed with my stay.
Spa hours are a bit short, it opens only at 3pm.

friendly staff lovely garden high ceilings
I found the front desk staff very helpful and friendly. the hotel restaurant was nice with a lovely garden. the room had high ceilings. It was better than i thought it would be.
the air conditioning thermostat allowed me to drop to 18 degrees so i thought all good and set the temp to 19 but the room failed to cool and i reported the problem

warm room noisy birds
the location was pretty convenient, i'll give it that.
the room was way too warm, a real sauna. they told me the engineer wouldn't be back for days. opening the windows just meant i got serenaded by noisy birds and the charming sounds of glass being thrown into bins. definitely not the relaxing getaway i had in mind.
